First Post

So I finally set up the blog for our winter vacation trip, and this is it! Alright so basic overview - we are going to London, to Israel, and then back home. Yup quite simple actually. It sounds like I will be the main person doing postings, so without further adieu my I present the Ricks' rovings (I thought it was clever and my dad was pushing for "London and Israel blog" So I think we did very well). I'll try to update it every day... but who knows how that will go, ah well, we'll see.

MikeR (sorry it is a seriously ingrained habit to sign anything I ever write, and if anyone else posts it will be distinguishable that way too)

FUN! My generation may always be imigrants to technology, but I surely enjoy what I can do. Old folks need it most because we can feel really disconnected from the fast moving world.

Thank you, Mike! You have added greatly to our Christmas Season already.

BYU lost their Bowl game to the University of Arizona, but my game day beef stew was delicious.

I don't suppose Mike can remember the place where he lived at age two, but I have some wonderful memories of visiting when Deborah was a baby. Mike was talking so well he could explain all of the sights for me on our brief walks and Deb gave me her first smile.

I'm going to teach Sunday School and Ray is teaching the Priesthood lesson today. I love the teachings of Moroni and we have that for two weeks. I noticed in the Church News that they just placed a statue atop the London Temple with the use of a helicopter. As John saw, "another angel flying in the midst."

Love to you and thanks for blogs,
Gr'ma B.
